            There is no such thing as \"part-time\" maids in Singapore.

            Either you hire a \"full-time\" maid, or you don't hire at all.

            If you are hiring a so called \"part-time maid\" without proper work permit, you are in serious violation of the law.

                  There is also no such thing as "foreign" "part-time" maids. The maids are bound to work under their employer and not allowed to work ‘part-time’ for other households. It is a serious offence. If caught, the maid will be charged in court and deported back to their home country. All parties will be fined, be it agency or house owner.

                    Anyways, you clearly have an ulterior motive in making all those multiple posts.
                    Only conclusion I can draw is that you are trying to circumvent the rules of the BB.
                    I won’t bother to reply to your posts anymore. Replying to your post may only result in more viewings of this thread. Not gonna fall into that trap.

                      The motive for posting is to warn users about the legal dangers and pitfalls of employing 'foreign' part-time maids. We do not want honest mothers to be shocked by visits from MOM senior investigators or CPF officers and claim that they are ignorant about Singapore Laws. It is the duty of every Singaporean citizen and PR to get acquainted with Singapore Laws since they are living in Singapore. Claiming 'ignorance' simply does not sit well with MOM and CPF. You are still liable to pay heavy penalties. It's just like jaywalking. You can tell a Singapore Police Officer that you do not know that you can't jaywalk across the particular road and he will fine you anyway.

                      It is not wrong to warn users. It is however, wrong to promote to users the idea that employing 'foreign part-time maids' is legitimate when the consequences of doing so are VERY SERIOUS. If a mom gets hit by MOM, that's it for her.

                      Many agencies opening doing so DO NOT mean it is legal. MOM and CPF have started cracking down on the errant agencies and it is just a matter of time for them to get caught pants down. Pls do a search for errant employers and house owners getting caught with heavy penalties. Eg. A filipino agency owner was fined S$50,000 after she was caught in the monkey business. It's not just the penalties that are daunting. The many 'interview' trips reqested by MOM Senior Investigators to go to MOM HQ and CPF HQ are enough to kill most moms. MOM has the power to collect all emails, smses etc. for prosecuting evidence, by the way.
