if I am not wrong,they were rushing to finish the construction,to meet the grand opening timeline. Problems arise when they compromise safety procedure to meet the deadline.
this building has so much prob even b4 the official opening. -

The developer, main con and sub cons responsible are going to have a tough time...
To have so much water collect above false ceiling causing the whole piece to collapse, the burst must be big time. And in a way, maybe the false ceiling panels were maybe quite good in that there was no holes/gaps and so water couldn't flow down and instead collected above the ceiling... what irony...
I haven't been there before. Looks like it can wait
