How many parents are considering not sending their children to school for a day or two this week? Exams start on Thursday, I am seriously contemplating keeping DS home on Tuesday and Wednesday. Now tempted to let him stay home tomorrow too :siam: .

Feel may be better to be well rested before the exams.
I think DS would be more worried if I keep him at home. He will worry he will miss something that the teacher teach this week. He will also worry that he breaks school's rules. So, we are keeping everything like normal. I don't want to make it a big deal for him also as this may cause him to be nervous. We are treating PSLE just like SA2 πŸ˜‰

For some schools, they have prelim 2. So this can be prelim 2? Or prelim 3? πŸ˜›

Was thinking about that but decided against it. Decided let the teachers do the revision with him. Besides, I think he needs the interaction with his friends - pranks and other monkey biz - to loosen up and then get serious at home. That's for him..

The word 'prelim' is not good as it only exists in P6 πŸ˜“

Well... not quite. I've only just started intensive revision last week. So I'll be revising like crazy until 2nd October.

I haven't even started revising at home but I still feel very stressed up, even got headache due to too much thinking.
Last week start still not too late, unlike me, treating the papers as if it is just my Mock Prelim, never revise at all.

Sounds like you are feeling stressed out already. It's ok to feel stressed out. You may want to start revising so that the stress gets less, just thinking. I feel maybe it's because there's not much revision n this leads to the stress.

You know it's pretty easy to revise. Assuming you have no tuition on that day, and if you start revising at 3.30pm, you can easily fit in 4hrs of revision as well as a ten minute break between every hour and a 40 minute break plus 1 hour of TV, assuming you eat dinner in 15 minutes, and still end your schedule before 11.
