Omigosh, your dd oso! My dd has supp class till today. Her Chinese teacher gave them 12 compre to do over the wkend and 3 more yesterday. I told her to complete 10 and not do anymore. This is on top of the English, Maths and Science prac papers.

Her teachers didn't even hv time to go through the papers. Her Chinese teacher just went thru 2 compre yesterday and said she will be giving out model answers to read instead. Her sch mates were so tired out that they left many blanks in their work.
The last 4 weeks were very intensive with many prac papers every day. So I intend to manage this final week by telling her not to do her sch wk anymore. I am just gonna let her read newspapers, chill with her novels and sleep at 8.30pm.
I think that is poor planning by teachers. My dc teachers gave them 10 sets of practice papers each for all subjects in term 3 amidst mock and prelim exams and I thought that was gruelling. When term 4 comes, all other practices were done in school during the 4 days of Sept supp classes and dc hadn't any work to bring home at all. On hindsight, I appreciate such arrangement. Otherwise, there won't be time for him to revise those challenging questions he once made mistakes upon and time for rejuvenation.

DS still have supp class today. But school did not give a lot of hw, practice papers etc.

He is already planning to go out with friends on 2Oct as he is not taking Higher MT.

Yup, it’ll soon be over. Psle syllabi would seem so easy when one reaches secondary school. Besides having 9 subjects to cope with, there are cca commitment, longer school hours and higher level arts to be included in total aggregate. So relax, there are steeper and higher mountains to conquer further down the road. Meritrocracy…haiz…

Chat with him on what you can do after PSLE. So that your DS has something to look forward to.
Last year DS had extra computer time.
This year DD has already drawn out a list of activities she wants to do - a few movies/kdrama, ice skating, library, and most important binge :rotflmao: hmmm looks like after PSLE I'm gonna be busy & broke

Does anybody know the timetable for the written test? Is it as in the Entry Proof i.e. 8.15am starts?
