Hi mummies, anyone with kids who is school team for wushu? What is the frequency for CCA practice for the school team and how often do they take part in the competitions. My boy is in the P2 team from term 3 onwards. When I asked the teacher how do they select the kids for school team, she only replied me "mbe you can tell your boy to do his best". I had no clue about the selection criteria etc.


Btw, what is the pupil profiling form which they given out yesterday used for? Do they use this as a guideline to stream the kids? Appreciate if the mummies here can help to answer my queries, thanks.

I didn't get this pupil profiling form from my P2 child. What infomation did they asked for?

I filled up the profiling form last yr so the " achievements outside sch" eg. Music exam etc is printed in the report book at year end. I don’t thk it has anything to do with streaming

I am just wondering why they need the info n if there is any impact on my boy.

I saw the form now and I don’t think there is any impact to teh child. It is up to us to declare. I don’t even recall they asked me for the certifications that i declare for verification.

Oh perhaps they do checks randomly? Last year, i declared for swimming and ABRSM piano certification. Never asked to produce the certs at all.

I always submit with a photocopy of the cert or proof of award/ participation.


The information are included in their report book.

Sidetrack a little, anyone have good recommendations on after school care near the school? Also any good tuition centre or tuitor for Maths, English & Chinese Compo and swimming too?

I noted many of the school students attend student care at Skylace. It is just opposite school at the same block as Sheng Siong. Not sure it is good, but the noticed that school partner them for their chinese enrichment programme for the student during school hours.
