Now that EL and MA are considered easy, would you as parents think Sci and MT will be difficult and to make use of the weekends to intensify the revision for these 2 subjects? Or think that this year MOE has decided to make life less stressful for everyone?

Did you buy the top schools paper? How would you compare the difficulty lvl between your boy's sch n some of those top schools paper? -

Yay! Majority seems to find the maths papers easy. Dc, from neighbourhood school, said all his classmates think the paper is easy and easier than their prelim’s. To think that many managed to get A* for prelim maths and yet this paper is even easier, standard deviation is going to be very small.
I believe MOE & SEAB are collaborating to do something about the stress level of psle pupils and to make tuition redundant.
But there are 2 more core papers to go, so we shall see… -

DS and friends say super easy.. Think I'd get DS to gear up for MT and Sci.. MT is his weakest subj :nailbite: -
My son actually expected 150% hardness and might be challengeable
and he was today ready to face any risky questions, but the very easy just 50%
against his expectations. Might be the questions easy to relieve stress and let PSLE
enjoyable and memorable. May be Science section A or B harder. -

Errrr. But she's sad now. Was beaming when I sent lunch. But just called me to say she 'corrected' something that was not wrong & 4marks gone. Right from step 1. Seems like her re-check end up with some wrong data? Can only know details after her supp class today.BeContented:
Seems to be another easy paper too. DD & classmates & I saw others seems happy.

Same fate as DS last year who was aiming for full mark. Well, that's life.

Hahaha.... 天下父母心，I guess all KSP never stop worrying. 1 paper down, start worrying abt next paper. This paper easy, worry abt next paper. Current year easy, worry abt next year. With more kids, more worries. By the time kids finished PSLE, parents all become 白发魔女. :rotflmao:
