What I can think of is those careless mistake. Like forgeting to put \"units\" like cm, litre (l), S$.. etc etc.LeeAH:

DS lost 2 marks so far. At 98%, we are bracing A instead of A*. It's reality. There will be many students who can score 100%.[/quote]Never mind about the stars. Overall aggregate is still more important. Try to make one mistake less (depends on std deviation) in the next paper and he may 'get back' the 2 marks.
Ya, there's a quota for A* right? Perhaps it will be 97% to score an A*.notredame:

Maybe now MOE does not mind many children getting A*
If Maths is easy, think about how the china students and GEP students will fair. 100 marks might become common. Any minor mistake may turn out to be a disaster, there is no way that they can allow a whole lot of students getting As and A*.. They will become worthless if too many people can achieve it..
Sometimes the results might surprise some of you guys here..
