Actually i wonder why not!!??!! If a child is deserving of an A*, give it to him/her. Why just because there are many A*, and the marks that could previously get the child an A* now becomes an A? Why shift the goal post for the grades? :? -

Oh dear... I will tell DS to sit down during recess :gloomy: Boys are very dirty. A few days ago he told me his friend spit a lot of saliva onto his hand and then touched DS's shirt. DS couldn't concentrate the whole morning because his shirt became very smelly :sick:

1. It seems that MOE is sending message that PSLE is not that difficult.
Why do you think Sci paper would be easy like Eng and Math, if I may ask?clay569:

Say, after marking a stack of papers and markers find that a certain answer previously marked wrong should be acceptable, and they argue over it and finally they agree yes, such-and-such-a-answer is acceptable, they will not go back to marked papers to mark it right. -

Hmm, this phrase presupposes that the markers have already scored a portion of the papers to realise this trend. So to buck this trend, will markers go back to the marked papers to ęéŖØ夓, i.e. tweak the awarding of marks?
Most likely is adjustment of the scores pegged to the grades.
Say, after marking a stack of papers and markers find that a certain answer previously marked wrong should be acceptable, and they argue over it and finally they agree yes, such-and-such-a-answer is acceptable, they will not go back to marked papers to mark it right.
My Chinese teacher also told me this too... So it's better to hope that my paper is at the bottom of the stack -
Can parents advise whether last year was there any difficult papers?

It was his middle finger on his left hand. He slipped on his way downstairs to the canteen and being left handed, he reached out with his left hand to support his body after he fell and his middle finger was bent like a no. 7. He was in pain...I feel bad for him.
How did he break his fingers? DS's school forbid them to run but children are still children. They cannot run so they play 'push' :slapshead: -

There was a year the top PSLE score was very close to 300.
Was the COP across all schools higher?
