Will have to change strategy.. Make less careless mistake for a 12 year old ...

My colleague DS first feedback to his dad is--> actually I can score 97 but I made some careless mistake ... So maybe 70. ... 🤷

        Dreamgear:
        From MOE website -

In situations where there are two or more pupils with the same rounded aggregate score vying for the last place in a school, they will be posted based on their citizenship status (i.e Singapore Citizens, then Singapore Permanent Residents, then International Students). If there is still a tie, say between two Singapore citizens, the one with the higher unrounded aggregate score will be posted into the school first. If there is still a tie between two citizens with the same unrounded aggregate score, then posting into the school will be determined by a computerised ballot where each candidate is given an equal opportunity.
Thank you for the sharing 😄

Now it will depend on DS's luck if he is one of the students vying for that last place in school.

Then tuition centres close down. All these ex-teachers can go back to teaching. Then we have enough experienced teachers, which means we can have smaller class size. That's good!

That's exactly what I wish for. In addition, pupils can work independently or hand-in-hand with the school teachers and many stay-at-home-mums can rejoin the workforce and boost our economy. Anyway, the 'O' or 'A' levels will segregate the pupils based on their abilities if this psle net doesn't do the job. Children will be able to enjoy as children for yolo, you only live once.

I hope after PSLE is over, MOE will give announcement that the PSLE standard from now on will be like this year’s standard. This will lighten up the pressure on parents and children. However, it is unlikely MOE will do that because the tuition industry will be affected greatly.

And parentd need not spend money on tuition. Children only need to focus on school homework and need not rush for tuition. More family time also. Now parents are busy ferrying kids for lesson. Kids get lesser time at home.

Then every pupil will be 'equally' good.. And every school (including Sec Schs) will be 'equally' good.. And every parent will be 'equally' happy.. And we all shall move backwards together, hand in hand, 'happily', shan't we? 🤷
Easier psle, less stress, more childhood translate to moving backwards? I don't think so.

If easy papers, even average ones will no longer be happy with 85% liao. :siam:
