My ds found HMT tough, but thinks he can get at least a PA. Told him nevermind lah, it's over! time to enjoy!
My dd too! She hopes to get a pass as well. She just said the first 2 parts was hard for her but compre was doable. Can't get much out from her as her frens were all waitg at the door. When I asked them, her 5 girl frens variously said so-so, hard, very hard and left happily for the malls.
In the end, it may not useful also. If she can make it, she may not consider the SAP schools as I read elsewhere that they have minimum promotional reqm for HCL and will be asked to drop HCL if the min grade is not attained.
For e.g. in Nan Hua, my nb ds was made to drop HCL when he got a B3 in CL. But in Victoria, one of ds' frens can still continue with HCL even with a B4. I understand so long as they passed their HCL in school, they can continue even if they can get Cs in O lvl MT. I kn some kids with B4 who actually passed HCL, thereby allowing for the 2 bonus points.
Unsure if this is true for other SAP or non-SAP schools.
I guess SAP sch has to maintain their results to ensure their SAP status. -

Dh told ds last night, \"mommy is bringing you to popular this weekend to get some sec 1 assessment books\" . My ds was : mom, it's a joke, right?
the look on his face was really priceless. Anyway, sure glad that the whole thing is over and now the waiting game begins.....
We were at Popular after the HMT paper. After he picked up what he wanted to buy, I showed him a Maths assessment book. He read from page 1 to x page, then he asked me to buy it.
DS cleaned his table and now there isn't any single paper or books on his table. It is full of toys instead :faint: -

I am still sorting P6 from P5 past year papers. DS helped me sort used and unused books. I am still far from finish. Too much memory...I'm packing. Not even half done. :imdrowning: :faint:
Ds is back to studying in exchange for Computer time. .... For something else la .... Another exam end of this month.

Same here! hopefully his T-score good enough to get him into his target school, so no need to rely on HMT

Hi Candy08,Shan:
DS has been playing games on phone & tablet since early morning today.
Yesterday, once he got back...ask for his own Facebook saying he is the ONLY lame one in class not having it. I said no cos you are not 13 yet.
Then asked for smart phone cos he is using a very basic & cheap phone now.
Told him we will think about it....cos worried he will be addicted to games & of his safety if he plays with his phone while walking on the road, etc.
Has anyone reward DC with smart phones for their hard work?
No, my DD don't have a phone nor Facebook or any social network account except for email as she needed to use for school. She said she don't need those as she think its not that important eventhough all her friends got one. And not that we don't reward her but she herself refused to have one. We need to justify with her why we are giving/buying her things otherwise she don't want you to buy her anything unless needed. She will tell us not to waste money.
Your DD really very different....how I wish my boys are like that. Before PSLE, DS asked me for a iphone 5S....I said NO! After his PSLE yesterday, he asked for at least a iphone 4....I said NO! -
