yes its near Ten Mile Juntion. BUT so far more people are talking about the one at Alexandra. So I am hopeful. At least the distance is still manageable from Bukit Timah Rd, I guess beats Tampines or CCK anytime.

The campus at CCK is rather small (w/o school field and running track etc) as compared to the former RV school (SAJC).

DD came home with the full year's calendar of events. Looks like the P1s will not be having SA1 this year. There will be SA2 though.

I realised that for P1, there is MT and EL oral test in Term 2 week 5 (19-24 Apr).

Have any your P1 kids receive their library card already ?

That's at Alexandra. As for Toa Payoh, that was the name that some parents have thrown up. We go there quite often, I don't see any school holding area :? ... so could be decoy.

Personnally, I like the temporary NUS High School site where RJC used to be located - near Ghim Moh

Best to clarify. I saw that too, no SA1 for the P1s but this calendar is fraught with typos...the P2's have Science? (It figures in the SA2 portion.)

The kids use their smartcard/bus pass for that. THink the Ps are scheduled to take photos later this month for that. Not sure what they'd use in the meanwhile. Could check with GO?

btw any parents can advise if we can stay at the school canteen when the P1 girls are having their CCA (10.30 - 12pm). Have signed up my girl for CCA and would like to guide her having lunch at the canteen after the CCA session.

My friend to me that the school is getting the PV to raise funds for the extension of the school. And RGPS has to move to SAJC (River Valley High) at Alexander Road next year.

If the school is moving next year, parents should be informed by now right? Understand that most schools inform their students/parents at least a year in advance…

Seems like its confrm that shcools going to Alexandra next year but how long renovation take we dnt know, could be a year or a year half.

If it’s confimed why the school hasn’t made any annoucements on the move? As a responsible school, they should give parents time to make the necessary preparations…
