haha...good question. my ds said he played games in class. any games..cards, chess etc. sometimes he brings his books to read. this week they had IT lessons on excel, word, ppt and there was a test too. I asked him if he finds this period boring, he said no, he knows how to entertain himself.

How's your ds's gut feel about PSLE? Heard the math was easy which scoring wise (relatively-speaking), is to your ds's disadvantage since he excels in math. But maybe he's also good in other subjects so that even out things.
At least your ds1 done his in the current campus. Your ds2 will have to do PSLE in the temp sch. -

Yeah, ds said basically all the papers were easier than the school prelims. but not very easy like what some ppl said. as you said, it may pull down the t score. anyway, this is beyond our control and we just hope for the best in the results. no point worry over something we can't control.

Joyfulhands:
Yes, the plastic book covers were extremely useful. We bought the small white board, marker & duster too but were only used sparingly.FQW:
However one of the optional items which proved useful to us is the plastic book covers. They help maintain the condition of the books esp. in my ds's case whereby he just shaft everything into the bag.
Thanks, Mommies!
Will get the plastic book covers and leave the optional items for now.
The small white board, marker and duster are used only at home or must bring to school? my DD has at least 3 of those at home, mostly from her childcare (children's day/xmas pressies, etc) and were not used as we have the ikea Mala Easel which she uses a lot at home to draw.
Is the dictionary useful? or they will probably only use it when they go P2 and beyond? or there will be different dictionary at different stage?
Sorry for my many queries... really dun wanna over-buy and end up white elephant collecting dust at home
TIA again! -
Hi mommy2two, welcome to phpps! During my sonโs p1 & 2 years, he brought the white board and markers to school everyday. Dictionary is not compulsory. If you already have one, it is not necessary to buy again unles you wish to have a different one for reference.
