hi,
virgin sec 1-to-be parent here.
is it critical for the student to report for the sec 1 registration at the sec sch after the posting result? what is done on the registration day? i read that it is mainly for the handling over of the report book, buy sch uniforms, books, apply for car decals/ labels, decide for hmt, transport, etc (in other words, involves more logistics than the student).
could experienced parents please advise.
thanks. -
Is it okay to not come to school nowadays?

What a way for dd to start her PSLE marking day.
Went ice skating yesterday, fell as she was ending her last round. Now nursing a swollen sprained ankle, no more outing or play-dates. Me almost died of exhaustion cos I had to piggyback my dd who is only slightly smaller & lighter @ ~1.57m & ~58kg :faint: -
i kind of envy parents who kids want to go and play at least no need stay home be monitor or monitress, my ds and his frens are a kiasu bunch they are doing sec 1 maths and comparing who knows more and hubby already said if hes home i got to be home ><.

If DS sprains his ankle, I will ask him to hop to home 'cos my knees would pop if I piggyback him
