      Hi All,

Do you find that the food at canteen is expensive? Or am I out of touch...

      Chocolate Waffle $1.20
      Drinks (magnolia fruit juice) $0.80

almost like outside NTUC price. Tot it would be subsidise to a certain extent...

I am not expecting the waffle to cost like $0.60 but at least $1.00 and drink like $0.60.
BTW, what would be a resonable amt to give to your pri 1 kid for recess?

        Hi famangelina31!

In Ting Xie 3, the fifth word is spelt wrongly. It should be qi che.

Have feedback this to Zhang Lao Shi, and he will amend accordingly.
Thanks for the update. BTW, they will be having their Ting Xie every Tuesday.

Ya now is unlike the old days where 50 cents can buy a lot of things. On average I give my kids like $1.50 to $2 per day. I rather give more then less as sometime they may use public telephone make emergency call to me.

Usually he don't use up all the $$ where he would save some for piggy bank. Normally we would give pocket $$ & at the same time is he is bring some food.

As for the water, encourage him to drink water. Those carbonated drink I agree with you are expensive & no difference compare with outside kopitiam price.

Yes, I agree. The food in the school is very expensive. Wonder whether there is any way we can feedback on this. $1.20 for a waffle is just like what you get outside. :!: And, we are talking about primary school students. πŸ˜›

not sure if emailing the principal is a good idea????? :? or maybe the operations mgr?

Yes, precisely....they are pri school kids.

I hv started asking my boy to bring some food to school. So far it has been museli bars and fruits like pears/apples/grapes. Did not give him sandwiches as I am afraid it might turn bad in the hot weather.
He leaves home early to go to BASC centre. Any suggestions?
