Best school uniform?

Life was hard, also wash own shoes n helped out in hse chores.. nowadays, kids are realy fortunate.


Because of my 'training' sicne young, my best hse chore is 'ironing' :lol:. Haven't practised for quite a while since taken over by maid

:lol: though i started training late,i picked up v fast...when i did part time after school as a sales asst at a high end fshion boutique,was made to do lots of iroing coz boss say all the clothes v straight! :shock:

nw officially appointed by hubby to do ironing of the clothes in the hse. :lol: :lol: bt nw he does some coz he cun handle a crying 3mth old baby... :?

I thought Henry Park’s uniform is quite good, it is a light brown polo shirt instead of those cotton crisp type. Good for our climate.

i like my daughter’s new uniform. she is going to lian hua next year and it’s a white top with blue inner collar and matching blue skort. good that the inner collar of the shirt is dark blue so as to hide the stains that will eventually come. (haha) the skort, although a very deep blue/aquamarine(?) colour, is surprisingly colourfast. good quality.


actually, i like it most since my daughter loves skorts. and i agree about the pinafores; so difficult to iron and so hot to wear, and this is from my own experience.

i hated my sec sch uniform too cos it was all white and fabric was rather thin too. for girls, to have a thin-fabric top plus a white bottom is really very troublesome.

I like the PE attire too....feels like those 'dry-tech' materials (not our good old cotton type - do they already made PE attires that good nowadays?) and no need to tuck in!

Hope my kiddie’s school will change to that,
so at least after running around during PE,
reach home also the pits (armpits) part not

Eh?? No need to tuck in meh? Aiyah, I tucked in for her two time this week already. But the shorts very toot. So plain and, er, black. My daughter complained that it's too tight at the waist so I have to go do some stretching this weekend. Maybe the heat from the dryer will weaken the elastic?

With the house name obscured when you tuck the shirt in, i don't think it is meant to be tucked in. My boy came back on the second day with his shirt untucked and told me said no need to tuck in (don't know is teacher said one or his buddy said so). with the shirt untucked, the ugly shorts also not so obvious.
