TheAnswer:
No, but they were texting each other for awhile... and then he told her to stop for awhile as he was with his friends. Then later she apologised but he still did not reply...Zelda574:
Let me go a little OT here, but my P6 dd has been obsessing over boys and how they don't answer her text messages. Help?
Such obsession is unhealthy. You might want to consider single sex secondary school. Eliminate the distraction.
Boys only respond if they like the girl (according to my lower sec male students)

Never be too clingyโฆ Give each other some spaceโฆ Only P6โฆ You are supporting their friendship in this way?

Never be too clingy.. Give each other some space.. Only P6.. You are supporting their friendship in this way?
Not really, but when the hormones are overreacting... What to do? -
Zelda574:
Distract her.. Actually an apology, I think boys will not acknowledge unless they are dating..TheAnswer:

If she continue to SMS or expect a reply, worse.. May put the other party off..
I remember that when I was dating my hubby when I was 18, sometimes he didn't even reply me when he was with friends.. At first hard to accept but it's his style.. He contacted me on his way home
Apologies via text messages were not acknowledged either but we are always fine after that.. Tell your girl to relax.. -

I think the words you used are too strong. As she grows older, she will meet more people who will not bother to respond.
Just ignore and carry on with her life. -
I remember that I would ignore him if he didn't respond to my message. I would not even give any follow up message. Ignore him until he initiate contact again

Well, I know that, but she's the kind that needs to have a direct reason to ignore. So ็็ๅฅน for now...I think the words you used are too strong. As she grows older, she will meet more people who will not bother to respond.

Zelda574:
