Currently there is no feeder service(bus) passing by that stretch of road. The only way to reach the school is by LRT(Jelapang). Just wondering in future if there will be any bus service passing through that stretch of road.

The school has written in to the relevant authorities to look into the possibility of erecting a sheltered walkway as well as possibility of an additional bus service. Such decisions by the relevant authorities will need to take into account many factors on their part. Hence, we’ll await their reply and we’ll update parents in due course on the outcomes of our requests.

We’ve recently made site visits to the school and would like to share with you that West Spring is taking shape very nicely. It’s a very lovely and forward-looking school! The construction of the school building is on schedule and will be ready for occupancy when the new school term starts. :welcome:

I worried that the deep colored shirt will absorb a lot heat when they stand in sunlight. I like it to be white for the vest part. Besides, the stand-up collar seems weird and discomfortable for kids. The overall design looks ok for boys, probably a little less sophisticated for girls though

The dismissal time is at 1.30 pm.

The school has considered many factors in the design of the T-shirt.
The material chosen is good quality dri-fit which helps perspiration to evaporate quickly and provide a cooling effect.
The mandarin collar design has been tried out in a number of primary schools already and pupils have not found it uncomfortable at all.
Feedback from many parents whose children wear white tops in schools is that they get dirty very easily and when wet, it is very transparent.
The design also needs to reflect the vibrant curriculum which the school is implementing, where pupils are actively engaged in the play-based learning curriculum.
