For this year and last yr, p5 boys who take HCL dont' have to stay back for extra HCL lessons. However, there are supplementary lessons for EMS and HCL as well. They don't teach CL separately, although they are given CL worksheets from time to time.
How often do they need to stay back ? I am considering whether to let DS continue with taking school bus. -

My son is due for P1 registration nxt yr (2015 intake) and hopefully he can get into MSHS. Appreciate if any mummies can advise on the following:
1) Is the school single or double session? What time does school start?
2) Do the boys take Higher Chinese from P1? Is Higher Chinese elective or a compulsory subject in MSHS?

Single session. 7.30am.

Yes, think its compulsory.
