If nothing can be done to redesign the PE attire. Hopefully the school can consider to bring forward the introduction of school uniform.. Perhaps allow student/parents to vote from a few choices. Like how HDB/town council consults residents on the paint color.

Not to worry, the school has plans to engage parents & pupils in the design of the school uniform as there’ll be time to do so then.
Because taste varies, it’s not possible to accede to everyone’s request. :imanangel:

In fact, we’ve already received word from some parents that they like the PE attire. :imcool:
Nonetheless, we’ll continue to engage our parents in school matters as much as possible.

Yes, taste varies. The most important factor is to be comfortable when wearing. I believe the mandarin collar is to ensure the Tshirt will not look sloppy when worn by the children. Some round neck tshirt will tend to become out of shape after usage. I am eager to see the actual material and also the colour as it will varies when posted online.

I wonder whether the vendor will tell the parents where to iron the name badge.

Not to worry, the material is soft and comfortable as a better quality material had been selected for the T-Shirt and shorts. You’ll be given guidance on where to iron the name tags as well. There’ll be extra name tags which you may use on other fabric school items as well.

No worries as there will be samples of the PE attire made available for the children to try on the sales of school item days. This will ensure that your child will look smart in a fitting PE attire.

On the first day of school, pupils will bring along their stationery and artbag / coloured pencils as there are class activities.

Hi Imaginary,

School will mail the outcome letter to all FAS applicants from 19 Nov to 21 Nov 2013. The successful FAS applicants will need to bring the original school official letter to collect the school items on Thurs, 28 Nov and Fri, 29 Nov 2013 from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm at Zhenghua Secondary School.

the letter received yesterday. and so, regarding Orientation date, parents required to company with their child is only on 2 Jan, 2014 ? on 3 Jan and 4 Jan, child need to go school alone without parents attending? Is my understanding correct? Please kindly reply.
