The orientation day on the 5th of November is a school day isn't it?
Normally is a day off for all existing pupils so no other pupils in school except parent volunteers and prefects. Maybe exam marking day or something and current P1 teachers will take the 2014 pupils for orientation and school tour.
A few canteen stalls will be open so can try buying food and drinks after getting uniforms and textbooks. -
Apart from the bookshop, where else can we get the uniform from?
Do we order name tags on that day as well.
Figured we would buy books another day to avoid the rush. -

If no changes, uniform supplier has a factory at toa payoh factory next to SPH. Personal experience is not good as went to exchange a defective sewn piece bought in school and was given old stock as cutting n cloth different. Info on opening dates and operating hours of bookshop and uniform sales will be given so can go back on other days. PE attire, shoe and socks sold at same location.Apart from the bookshop, where else can we get the uniform from?

Book comes in a standard box so whatever you cancel from the booklist will be taken out of the box.
Nametags were ready for collection at a separate desk on orientation day so keep a lookout. Pay and collect on the spot. -

Hi all,
Sorry for not dropping by for so long. Finally the boys have finished their sa2 and now enjoying their time at school as well as at home. Parents also take a break now.
Time sure flies and there are only two weeks left before the school term ends. Hehe can’t wait for holiday to come so I can catch some sleep. For 2014 p1 parents, now is about time for the kindergarten graduation. Must be an exciting time of your life. Hope all go well and your kids are all looking forward to coming to TGPS next year.
During the orientation, you can purchase uniforms, shoes and may be books. The school bus vendor will be around too so you can make enquiry if you are interested. If you want to purchase textbooks, do remember to bring a trolley cause they can be heavy. I often wait until the last few weeks of December before making my purchase. There are less people queuing up that time :-). -
From the orientation I heard that the PE t-shirt design is going to be changed?
We only bought the uniforms and PE shorts so far together with books and name tags.
I notice they have a lot of heavy files to be bought.
