The kids just received the notification today. It has also been uploaded on the school's website, under 'recent circulars'. $88 for one way, $110 for two ways.

Just curious, what is the logic to buy both sets? Shouldnt higher chinese already cover the main chinese?

biceps has a separate booklist, and bicep is having HCL

in mainstream booklist, both HCL and CL textbooks are included with the denotation that HCL are for those taking HCL only. It did not indicate whether those taking HCL need to buy the CL text as well. IMO, I do not think it make any sense to buy both HCL and CL. I am asking DS to check with his teacher tomorrow.
