I use to hang around Serene Center too but that’s like another life when I think back now.

Is the fish & chip the dry type ? Or it has some gravy on it ? -

Ooh. This one is GOOD. It's the dry western type. It costs roughly $17ish for the regular fish if I remember correctly and they always ask if you want to upgrade to a premium fish at a price of $2x. The happy answer is NO NEED! The regular fish is already vv good, very moist and succulent.cafelatte:

While you're there, you can shop next door at the fish market. They have sashimi grade fish at good prices. We like to buy the NZ short-necked clams (don't they sound darling) to make Vongole for dinner. -

Tee hee. We were young once ... Ok lah. Shake off the dust, pat down the hair, still can be happening lah, but in a subdued, mummy way. Surely there are no contradictions in my statement, hmmm.Blobbi, I think I saw you leh...the good looking chick with salvating guys lurking behind you, right ?

Dry kind but comes with 2 dipping sauce: tartar & sour chillies. I like them just as they are, sometimes with a dash of malt vingear.
VitoRelax, you in NJC, right ? Go check them out in the afternoons. I remember vaguely last year on certain days there's fish&chips special : like S$9.90 for a portion or something like that.
The Swiss Butch next door sells great meats too...sauages and cooked ham!
Blobbi, hahaha...in my case, got to smooth out the wrinkles too ! but seriously Serene Center was really long long time ago for me !
