Thks for sharing the good books, Tamarind.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

U are helping DangDang to boost their book sale in a way
      \t\t\t\t\t
As parents, the best part is that we can progress acc to our children's pace without having to wait or chase after anybody. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
No other enrichment class can be compared to home where the ratio is 1:1 or 2:1; a little quality time is better than no time with them.
Learning with the kiddo is also an upgrading program in parenthood.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
      It is premium & priceless!\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
I like the idea of contextual learning in the article. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
      U see, u smell, u touch, u hear, u will remember!

        JY:
        Hi Tamarind,

Have been trying to order the 四五快读series from Dangdang but they have been OOS for the past week. The website also doesn't allow me to leave an order or email with them such that when stock arrives, we are notified to make payment.
Have you encountered this problem or is it me who doesn't know how to use the website? I checked with the customer service who said apparently can leave an order.
        Hi JY,
I am also not aware of any feature in dangdang that notifies me when stock arrives. May be other parents who have ordered before can advise ?

Dangdang is one of the biggest online shopping website in China 😉 They don't even need to sell overseas, they are earning more than enough selling inside China. I am just sharing with other parents where to buy good and cheap Chinese books 😉 Our local bookshops are really very pathetic.

Thank you for posting that excellent article.

I totally agree with your views about learning at home. I read all the books that I bought for my kids and I totally enjoy them. Learning with kids at home is also an excellent way to bond with them 😉

dangdang is in China, the currency is Renminbi.

              1 Singapore dollar = 4.75 RMB

Just divide the price by 4.75 to convert to SGD.

To make is easier, just divide by 5 to convert to approximate S$.

I want to thank mummies for recommending 学前阅读计划 readers. My gal enjoys the readers very much. Finally, I find some chinese readers that she is able to read on her own 🙂

I am looking for 900-1200 words series. Pls let me know if you happen to see any local shop or website selling it. Thanks.

                      Hi maltbibi,

I am really glad to find this reader too. My kids also enjoy reading this reader. I have other readers at home but they are not interested to read it on their own initiative. Except this one! :celebrate:

Last time I called up and spoke to the person in charge of Elmtree from their Aljunied warehouse. She said we may pre-order the series which is not available at their outlet, then pick it up when the books are arrived.

But I didn't order from them, bcoz I don't want the audio CD which comes with the books. I ordered directly fr odonata.com. It took 10 days to receive the books even though I paid by using surface shipping mode.

The odonata.com staff called me up that day told me that for surface shipping mode, it might take 1 to 4 months to reach me as the parcel will be shipped out by sea transportation. She asked me whether I want to change to air shipping mode, which will only take 1 week to receive the book. I was  . (I didn't change bcos if I wanted to TT the additional air shipping charges to her, I wld have to pay the bank S$10 TT charges!) Luckily it took 10 days only! 😄 yah men, how could it be to ship a parcel from there to singapore will take 1 to 4 months! Unless all the staffs in shipping company are sleeping while on duty...
