Not sure what is NT kids?mummiess , daddy, i jus wan to share here ....
do u mummies or daddy feel like \"knife cut across the heart\" when u hear other parents share about the NT kids? maybe becuase i only have one nly child and his is SPED.
my colleagues kids are all about my son age , + & - ..the way the share, i totall clueless...
feeling so sad, i hide my feeling and after lunch i go toilet & cry & cry.. im so weak. sorry mummies if i affected u..
My eldest son is mild autistic and I used to cry a lot in the past. My colleagues know my son condition and I'm fine to share my son condition. My colleagues get to know what is autistic, what is attention defisit and why autistic children has difficulty in socializing themselves.
Autistic child is just a child with condition and they have special talent. -

I stopped my doter’s educational therapist sessions sometime in sep, and since then my doter has been asking for it. I think she likes the intellectual stimulation on a 1-on-1 basis.
If you know of any good educational therapist, please let me know.

Are u willing to share with us why you decided to move your boy to Pathlight next year? Did he have a lot of difficulties in mainstream that's why u decided to make the switch? Your feedback will help some parents here like me to decide what we should do when is time for us to make that impt decision.
My boy is also mildly autistic, we always thought he could probably survive in mainstream since he is mild until I hear how good Pathlight is and am thinking if my insistence to put him in mainstream will do him any good. Or is it because I still could not accept the fact that he will eventually go to a special school, that's why I want to him to try it out at mainstream.

I think that may be too broad a generalisation. Autistic kids vary in their areas of interest, and not all will be good at the same things. Some may not be good at art and comp sc, but good at sports, or music, or maths. -

Yes, that's my daughter's experience. Lower Pr work can still rely on memory and is fairly standard. Once the work becomes more varied, requires broader thinking, more social skills (group work and understanding social implications), better organisational skills etc, then they find it harder. And it only gets harder as they go higher.
