      cafelatte:
Dry kind but comes with 2 dipping sauce: tartar & sour chillies. I like them just as they are, sometimes with a dash of malt vingear.

VitoRelax, you in NJC, right ? Go check them out in the afternoons. I remember vaguely last year on certain days there's fish&chips special : like S$9.90 for a portion or something like that.
Yup, tried the fish & chips this afternoon .... $18.95 ... not bad ...

Everyday, they have some special ... but not for Fish & Chips leh ...

Today, Wed's special is norwegian sahimi at $9.95 instead of $16.95.

But the norwegian sashimi not fresh so leh .... a bit fishy smell ...

      Thanks for your tips ...

No problem. I am positive they had fish&chips specials on a weekday afternoon last year. Never tried the sashimi but the NZ/Canada oysters are fresh and very good value.

Lana cakes - tried a few times but somehow I am not very taken.

Hi VitoRelax, doesn’t sound like you were impressed, oh dear. At least you liked the fish and chips?

Never tried the sashimi or the oysters too - we just go for the favourite on the menu. Will take note of those.

There was an offer once half price for takeaway fish n chips on Mondays. I’m not sure if that’s still av. Sashimi n oysters are very good! Tues nights used to be oyster nights again not sure if that’s still the case.

Meat lovers should go for the churascaria at Donna Camelia at the opposite corner from the fish market near the coffee shop. $39 for adults n $22 for 4-12. Believe that’s only for dinner tho. Was there last night with 2 of my boys n the 12 year old who paid the least ate the most!!

erm.. not sure if this falls under the area you are looking at.. but I like ASTons at the coffee shop at 6th ave. the Pizza store next door is very good too.. I like the chicken wing (dinner only) at Toh Yi food centre.. these are the only affordable ones I can think of at Bt Timah..

the stretch nearer to Hwa chong not much cheap n tasty food, only frequent the Adam road food centre.

My kids love Astons Chargrill chicken at 6th Avenue. The French fries are so cheap for such a big packet.

As for Lana cakes, I find that they are not as nice as before, but the queues are still there.

I love the roti prata at Ah Mei…yummy.
