For the prize giving ceromony, is the first pupil of a class to go on stage ranked #1in class, second to go on stage ranked #2 and so on? Or do they go on stage in random order?
They are arranged according to their surname in alphabetical order. -

Hi parents,How many HA classes in primary 4?
I also have this question, if din opt for META class, will go HA classes?
And how many students who selected for META but din opt in.
A letter has given out by the teacher today to the students who have chosen to go META class in primary 4.
Appreciate your advise do you know if there are students did not join the META class? And how many HA classes in Primary 4?
Some said both standard is about the same. If opt out I suppose the kid will go HA class right? -

Take it easy lah:
I read in this forum that each level they only take in abt 2 classes. So after we successfully registered our son for NYPS, my hub and i went down to the toh tuck campus to check out Learning Bliss. I quite like the staffs there and and their programme, so we registered for my son that day. Paid deposit. Need to pay the other fees on orientation day.You already enrolled him in Learning Bliss? How did you do that? I called the school admin, they told me to wait till orientation.
Hi, my son is in class 1C. I've enrolled him in Learning Bliss. 1st consideration for me is, it's within the school compound, so I don't need to worry about him going out of the school. According to the daily schedule, they do guide the kids to do their home work. You may want to find out more.Qiss33:
Hi, my daughter will be going to class 1B next year. Anyone in the same class? Any recommendations for after-school care? Most important criteria is they make sure home work is done.
Thanks!
Some said both standard is about the same. If opt out I suppose the kid will go HA class right?
META students take GEP level Chinese. Other than that, all other subjects are the same as the mainstream students. But the expectations are higher, and they will be \"stretched\" (in GEP HOD's words).
Selection into META program is solely based on the child's performance in the GEP selection exercise. If the child opts out of the program, he will be sorted according to his P3 results. So it is not necessary that he will end up in a HA class.
Go for the META meeting arranged by the school. All your queries will be answered then. Do remember, whether you want to accept META program depends a lot on how good is your child's Chinese, since he will be doing GEP level Chinese in META. :xedfingers: -
Confused: How does Chinese get linked to gep selection (eng and math)? Being selected into META depends on GEP screening but child is actually only doing GEP Chinese…

Need to clear my doubt further if only 1 HA class then those kids must have super good result to squeeze in to 1 HA class out of 13 classes.
If I remember in P4 there are 2 or 4 HA classes… 4 GEP classes & 9 classes are MA classes. I may be wrong. It must be very stressful for just 1 HA class only.
How we know if your kid is in HA classes?
Sorry I’m not very sure about the class allocation, as my DD has no
older sibling to ask. -

Probably, it is to prevent the parents from making requests to transfer their kids to the HA classes if they were to find out the 'COP' of their classes. There are cases in other schools. However, the parents will still know eventually.
