Some pupils who are not in the top 5 are allocated to these classes.

It's not class position...more cohort position ....top 160 into 4 HA P3 classes

Based on which classes Top 5 (identified) go to is how other parents guess whether their kids might be in HA class...if yes, it means their child's cohort position is 160 and better (at least)

This is more for P2 to P3.

P3 going to P4 will be complicated by the GEP and META classes, so not as easy to tell which are the HA classes.
