I’m not sure whether there will be any changes next year.


Basically, the lower primary gets 2 PE days, and 1 Pal day (this is where they will do stuff like inline skating, bouldering, cooking, ukelule, photography, etc. Changes every term. They are allowed to wear their house T-shirts on Friday instead of their normal PE T-shirt at the moment.

On orientation, basically, there will be sales of books, name tags for first 2 weeks of school and school uniform. The gals will be orientated around to their classrooms where they will meet their new classmates and interact.

The parents will also get an opportunity to know each other as they will be seated according to classes.

Personal experience, the school is organized during orientation, and also during the first 2 weeks of school. As long as you follow the instructions, the gals are well taken care off.

Hi Folks, my girl is currently in P3 going P4. Someone has told my wife that girls in P4 will be stream into Express and Normal class. And those in normal or poor results will be "kicked" out of the school since St Nicholas has no Normal Class. Someone commented it’s happening in other schools?


Any P4 parents can comment and advise? I am very troubled and disturbed if there is such a rule currently.

Hi, I thinks its not true that the girls will kick out by school. Its still base on the girls’ PSLE results, if the girls cannot score min requirement by St Nicholas , of course cannot continue St Nic Sec .


There is a streaming at the end of p4. To select HCL or Normal Chinese, Normal Subjects or Foundation Subjects. Parents will receive a briefing more abt this when your girls in p4.
