Is it advisable to bring a trolley bag on Orientation Day ? We are afraid the books may be too heavy.

You can already buy most of the textbooks/workbooks from Popular, of course except those (eg PCPS exercise books/files etc) which can be only be bought from the school bookshop.
I don't thk total items will be that heavy but if you are also getting sets of uniform+T shirts/shorts, perhaps a trolley bag will be good.

Hi gtgt, if 2 adult go together the load is quite manageable. N can separate the q too, 1 person for books, and another for uniform.

Hi all, my ds got offered for chinese orchestra for cca.

                  May I ask

1: how do teacher assign the instruments? Will they follow what the child has indicated during audition?

2: is it a large grp for each instrument?

3: how is the training provided? Not background at all…is it easy to pick up?

4: will we be asked to buy the instrument?

I think they match according to the child's musical bkgrd and physical attributes eg. Big size-big instrument. Last time they didn't ask for child's preference.

2: is it a large grp for each instrument?
                    Abt 10? Not sure.

There 'll be an external teacher for each instrument grp. Senior students will teach juniors too. External teacher may ask child to join outside class for a fee. Easy to pick up since child would have the interest then join CO right?

4: will we be asked to buy the instrument?
Not compulsory. Can loan from sch. But good to have your own.

                    ?

Oh, still may need to learn outside school to be able to play well. No wonder, my ds say some kids have already learning er hu for 1 yr during audition.
