SAHM2013:
Gave the weightage breakdown in feb newsletter n expect parents to still remember at yr end? Even so, the sch should hv done better by giving the parents all the marks at a glance to show us how the overall was derived. My kid didn't even get to see the marked compo paper n wasn't told the mark. How on earth to compute overall? Actually I wouldn't be too concern about the computation if my child's mark is consistent throughout. But SA2 paper 90+ vs overall 70+ just leaves me puzzled...
Agreed! In fact, it's also helps parent to analyse which area kids are weak, where they should focus, which period of time is not doing well and what needs to be done. We need to tell our kid why they are not doing well. Study hard but also gotta study smart. -
Anderson is not the same anymore since Mr Lawerence Chong left

Finally looked up their Facebook (thanks jayjayloh)... But only selected ~180 pictures uploaded... Not all... So hopeful parents of some prize-winners and performers... Still no hope of seeing the pictures.
I saw it on their Facebook page.cherryseeker:
Just for laughs...
Mystery of the Missing Prize-Giving Ceremony Photos
I just returned from the prize-giving ceremony... My kid was performing... Many anxious parents were trying to get as near as possible to the stage to snap pics of their kids receiving prizes... Mcee reminded parents there are professional photographers engaged to take pics of prize winners and performers... But get this... over the years, no offer has ever been made by the sch for parents to order any of such pics!!! Where did all the pics go? LOL... -

Tks jayjayloh. It seems we might have found an informal channel to communicate with Anderson through you… Tks a zillion.
Do you know if photographs from prior years’ prize-giving ceremonies are/will be loaded? -
