Hi fruittypie, can PM me your tutor's contact as well? Thanks!Perhaps your child needs motivation? My kids used to dislike studying. Finds lessons boring. Always hovering around 50-60s. No matter how I tried to encourage, motivate and even resort to bargaining. It just did not worked. I got my current tutor's contact through my colleague. Within 6 months, both my kids improved.
My P4 DS got all band 1 and maths was 94%. When he took back the paper I thought the school teacher had counted wrongly.
Till today I am still amazed and curious about what the tutor had done.

I send my kids to a private tutor in marine parade. Is a small group tuition and they have been scoring band 1 and really seen great improvements under her guidance. heard that she has more than 10 years experience too. can pm me if interested mommies glad to share

The traditional way of grilling and drilling with questions to learn maths, does not seem to be working for more and more students.
Even for those children that works with long hour of drilling, it might be killing their interest, creativity and taking away their childhood. So when looking for enrichment, parents might want to consider these factors before deciding.
No wonder, there is a book that talks about \"A-grade students are working for C-grade students in workplace\"
