So any Wii users can share how to control the usage? Still thinking whether to get one.
Does you all play every week? Would the kid addicted until do not want to do any homework? -

for me and my DS, so far quite ok.
DS loved wii, computer game, etc
each time he wants to play wii, he asked for permission. we will set a duration and when times' up he will switched off by himself, no fuss. He knows that if he did not keep to his end of the bargain, I will still switch it off and he won't get to play so easily the next time. -

Same for my boys. They also like to play all sorts of electronic games but we set down the rules since day one - they only play NDS on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons when they visit their grannies. To play Wii or computer games, they must earn their rights i.e. behaving well. And each play session is only 45min.

I think nowadays, very few retailers sell the mod version in Singapore because it is illegal. And you can't play the original games on mod version, if I am not wrong.
