Really ah? So sad. I think Shiro is local company. Should support Singapore companies mah. I have a couple of Shiro DECT phones that are Skype compatible for almost a year now. Still works great, except my rechargeable batteries seem to die pretty quickly nowadays.btw...don't get the shiro ones. Downright lousy. Used a couple times, kaput.
I suppose that MAYBE in Secondary school, I will probably get her a mobile.
That said, I won't touch an Akira product with a 10 foot pole, unless it is something so geeky that no other company would produce it. -
Yes…this Akira…strange that they are doing so well. Most of their products like cannot make it.

Me lor. Since Primary 1. But cannot bring to school. I only let him take it when we go out jalan jalan. Peace of mind, really.

I heard from some friends that some schools disallow hand phone in schools due to lots of hand phone theft. So does your kid bring the phone to school? -
I think ALL primary schools disallow students to bring mobile phones to school.
