Rivervale is under Punggol East SMC, I check under MOE website

I use the One Map to check, for my address I am withnin the 1km for NCPS.

Any chances of gg in?

Oh I see, overlook that small SMC. If you're within 1km of NC, chances over the past few yrs is around 1/3. Punggol Pri's PSLE top scorer this yr is 270, pretty good, hope it's not one off.

Any advise is appreciated

Hi all,

need advise here.

I am a active grassroot leader and staying in Pasir Ris Punggol GRC.

Understand that I will be under 2B if I choose sch that is in Pasir Ris Punggol GRC.

But I was thinking of placing my boy in Nan Chia which is under Sengkang West SMC but I am 1km away from this school. which means I have to opt for 2C.

I am in dilemma,

1) should I miss my 2B chance and go to 2C to ballot for Nan Chia OR
2) straight away use my 2B chances and go for sch in Pasir Ris Punggol GRC.
if I opt for (2), could anyone advise which primary shc is better

SOS… Can someone share on Seng Kang, Punggol and North Spring Primary?

Am staying within 1km from these schools. Was thinking of enrolling under phrase 2C as I wanted to try gg to Nan Chiau pri using 2B.

Could someone advise on the learning environment of the sch? Is it stressing on academic, are the teachers patience and how is the principal?

Pls advise.

GG to P1, I remember reading somewhere that for Nan Chiau, there was balloting even for SC within 1km under phase 2C. Something like 174 vying for 50 spots. Not sure how Nan Chiau picks their PVs but i’m you, I will apply to be a PV first. If they accept me then I will take the chance and do PV. Can get to the know the school better along the way…I heard that it is not easy to get selected as a PV.

I am too late for PC alredi I understand that staying within 1km is under 2b, so tik of trying my luck.

If not successful then will look at punggol, north spring or sengkang under 2c.

GG to P1, oh I see…but I think in order to qualify under 2B, it’s not about whether you are staying within 1km. One will qualify under phase 2B via the grassroots or PV route. Distance will only come into the picture should there be a balloting. Since you are too late for the PV, you are under phase 2C already. I read somewhere that next year onwards there will be more places allocated for phase 2B and 2C I think. I read and read everywhere but I cannot remember where I read this from…
