I have another question. Is it possible to audition for both Visual Arts and Theatre???? I absolutely love both!!! I cant decide just yet. so if they could allow me to audition for both, that would be great!
Hi!
Yes it is possible, but I would recommend you to think carefully about it, as it is a major decision - it's something you will be doing 20hrs a week. So, you really need have the passion, the zest for the art form. Otherwise, you wouldn't enjoy your school life! Just my 2c.
Oh and also, the AEP program isn't for SOTA. It's only offered at Bukit Panjang Govt. High School, CHIJ Secondary (Toa Payoh), Hwa Chong Institution, National Junior College, Nanyang Girls’ High School, Victoria School and lastly, Zhonghua Secondary School. Sorry to say that SCGS doesn't offer the AEP programme. You can find out more at http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/secondary/other/art-elective-programme/
Good luck and all the best! Hope it helps! :ugogirl: :ugogirl:

Sorry if I misled you! I'm not too sure, but what it looks like is that the two AEPs are different - one is under MOE and the other one is specially for SOTA students.
Good luck!

Don't worry - you're not the only one. After all, it's under snail mail.
Good luck!

I have received the reporting day package email attachment earlier today, in the evening. The snail mail should probably arrive tomorrow or day after.

What is the dance curriculum for non-ballet dancers? I know alot of ballerinas, but i haven’t heard of non-ballet dancers. I understand that in the end they will still have to learn ballet. But what other things do they do in class? Anyone here in non-ballet?

Hi gurlinsg3142,
I heard from my friend that they will dabble in different dances. If you're planning to let your child enter SOTA, maybe you should go to the open house or the open symposiums
Best of luck!

In the letter, it is written that the leotards with the SOTA logo takes three weeks to process. Does this mean it take three weeks for them to make the leotards?
