Hi, I was a student from Rosyth and graduated last year. I really like the school and it has given me an all rounded education ๐Ÿ™‚ there are some amazing teachers in this school who really stretch students. And yes, I do agree that the standards are higher than that of other schools, as my PSLE T-score can be considered one of the highest in some other schools, but not yet the top 30 in Rosyth (non-gep students inclusive). Hope this helps, wish you all the best in enrolling! Feel free to ask any questions and I will try my best to answer ๐Ÿ™‚

Would like to find out how many classes are in GEP? I heard that only those in gep are better in standard but the rest of classes are made up of neighborhood children , is it really true? People said that if it is not due to gep that unfairly pull up the grades for school, it will not be that popular ?

I disagree but would like to clarify.

Also when they go single session, what are the school hours like? And is it true that teachers don't teach but rely a lot on tuition teachers?

        Appreciate your inputs.

There are about 13-15 classes per level, with 2-3 being GEP classes. That is not true, minus GEP, the school's standard is still pretty high, imo. Of course, there will be their share of unpleasant pupils in every school but not much, from my experience.

No, there are many very dedicated and passionate teachers in Rosyth and i have been taught by many of them. Rosyth is really a good choice to put your child in.

I'm not very sure about the school hours when the school goes single session, as i have graduated last year.

Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any more questions! ๐Ÿ™‚

Oustanding students are nurtured by dedicated parents, educated by people around them. Teachers are facilitator, the child is the key. If he put in his best, stay focus, he can do well in any school. On the other hand, if he is lazy and not focus, with no good home support, he will learn badly. Any Top school is not a magical place where it will transform any child to do well eventhough the child is lazy.... they just have more concern parent that can ensure that their child stay focus all the time... In Singapore, a lot of top students are having tutions, no exception for Rosyth students.Having said this, there are still quite a big number of top students perform very wrll and not having any tution at all.

          well said!

Is it confirmed that the school will move back next month?

                  Definitely.

I thought it will be single sessions after moving back but apparently not.

I suppose the school is still lacking of resources????

Have driven past the school n it still doesn't look ready to start next week.

The enrolment is still very strongโ€ฆ and may be the trafic will be too congested if all levels are in the morning session.

The traffic is already congested in the mornings with dual sessions.
