      Hello Steadyberry

ooh, now more clearer on the hcl requirement, think my ds's chinese not as good as some of his counterpart as he score overall 90 only, and he was in the 2nd best class during P2 time.. thanks for explaining!
U r welcome. Which means the standard of Chinese is very high since yr ds didn't get in even though he scored overall 90. If yr ds performs well nx yr, there is still a chance for him to get into hcl class. One girl in normal CL was promoted to hcl class nx yr. From P1-3, she was in normal CL but nx yr she is in hcl (should be in the 2nd class). So u never know.

          Hi linakua

Yes, E is the best followed by F and G. The rest are normal. Don't have to feel stress unless you have really high expectations or put too much emphasis on grades. Actually woodgrove is not the only school, some schools started streaming as early as P1. so woodgrove is still ok as streaming starts only after end of P2.

                  Hi All

Me currently staying in Yishun as our flat in Woodlands is not ready yet.

I checked with WGPS school bus service and they only pick up from Woodlands. From Yishun to Woodlands, they advise me to get private school bus service. But I just seems to be unable to find one.

Anyone you guys know can recommend?

                  TIA!!

                    Hi lala81

Do not think parents can accompany kids all the way to the hall. Once u pass guard house, there are teachers standing there & they will bring your kids up the staircase to the hall. Think the 1st three days, you can go in during recess to see your child. You are not allowed to be in the canteen (ie. Sit beside yr child while he/she is eating). They will put strings or something as a divider and you stand behind the divider. Like paparazzi taking photos of actors/actresses at red
carpet lol. So be there early to chop yr standing place. Also take note of the class paste on the tables when u chop yr place. If yr child is in 1A, the table of 1A is near the divider and you stand near this table, you can talk to yr child or take
photos. Only applicable to the few tables near the divider. But if tables are nearer to the stalls, then you can only see yr child from far away. The first few days, your child is encouraged to buy food from the canteen bec their buddy is around to guide them.

Sorry cant help you with yr queries on school bus coz I stay very near wgps.

Hi, my girl will be taking the school bus from student care center and the center is at woodgrove estate too! Which student care center will your girl be?
I got the call from the school bus driver few days ago and he said the pick-up time from student care center will be 12.15pm. So i guess they should be reaching Woodgrove pri school by 12.20pm.

For the 1st school day, I will send my girl to student care center in the morning and let her follow the school bus to school. And I will just wait her direclty at the pri school
                      .
