My ds got in through DSA too. I called up HCI yesterday and was told to bring along either his birth certificate or eazylink card. In fact when i told the staff i have already bought the books and uniforms, he said ds need not go down on Monday. Parents be there will do. No need to bring along any other things, we are there to collect package (comprising booklist etc) not to submit anything yet (instructions will be given subsequently).
My son's primary school said that we need to bring primary school report book and PSLE certificate. Thought these applied to all secondary school? :scratchhead:
In this case, we will also bring along the birth certificate and eazylink card. -

thanks for the info. Glad to know that son doesn't need to go. He just had eye surgery 2 days ago, so it is better that he stays home for recovery.
Do we need to bring along the PSLE result slip that indicates the CO from HCI ? -

No. HCI already has the boys' names and their PSLE results, that's why only need to bring his birthcert for identification. Tables will be set up based on the initials of the child's names, and you will queue accordingly to receive the welcome information package. There will be talks for those interested in the elective courses such as AEP.7788:

When you are there on Monday, you can fill and submit the GIRO form for school fees. It is not necessary to submit on the spot, the boys can also submit them later when school starts. But we submitted on the registration day so that the boys have one thing less to remember.

Just to say hi to everyone - hope our boys will enjoy their life in HCI. So much so for PSLE, am still not familiar with IP unlike "O" level. Hopefully my boy can cope well with the programme. -

Yes, that's why i rushed over to get the books just now during my lunch break. And bought the PE uniform too.
I am not sure what consortium that DS will get in. Anyway, bookshop lady said iSpark has just one additional book, so i bought it as well. Truly KSP
Will worry how to pass it to someone if he is not in iSpark. -
iSpark booklist has this additional book entitled "Shooting Kabul" by N.H. Senzai (Publisher Simon & Schuster) for English Language.
