I agree, but it may be better to introduce them gradually? Depends on the kid, I suppose. Some may find it confusing to be told too many variants all at once (I have one child like that). Also, since most kids now have mobile phones, they can always call a parent for advice if there are transport issues.

There is actually a back door opens to AYE side.


Problem is very few buses go along AYE, more convenient for people from Jurong side.

ACS has a boarding. I recall being told by the previous principal that somes students r required to stay in the boarding with a school drawn up study plan. Is this still a practice?

It's not a common practice. In the old days, we used to have internal transfers and at-risk students who needed some discipline which their home or external environments could not provide. Since the BSch enforces two hours of supervised study every night for all boarders (Sun-Thu), this was a good thing for many.
