Hi can advice on how many sets of uniform to buy for DS? How many sets of PE attire? Are the boys allowed to book in to the school in PE attires?

My ds have 4 sets with 2 sets of buttons PE tee have to await the house allocation first. Yes allowed to wear PE attires if there is PE in the morning. Will probably end up with a lot of tees - PE, orientation, cca, class, special events..

Thanks dreamgear. School website put must wear CHS PE attire during sch orientation 1 day camp on 3rd Jan.So will they know their house allocations tmr?

From last year experience, the orientation pack (about $15) which you will buy tomorrow also includes an orientation tee. The orientation is based on house basis, if im not wrong the house allocation should be out tomorrow... Im not sure if theres any changes this year orientation program, but u should be able to get the info tomorrow...

Is it necessary to bring report book tomorrow? If my ds is in IP track, will there be many textbooks? School bag expected to be heavy?

We were told by the primary school principal to bring along the report book and PSLE result slip and to be in primary school uniform.

I would bring along the S1 form too, just in case, need to show HCL eligibility, or whatever. Kiasu mentality

File for every subject, plus textbook and workbook for 2 science, geography, history, chinese. No texts for english and maths. No laptop.

Can leave the books in class or rent a locker.

So in theory not suppose to be very heavy...

Does anyone know what’s the typical ratio of affiliated pupils and non-affiliated pupils in the express stream please?

Don't jump into XL immediately hor... but I'm sure you'll get a sample to try on ds before deciding. My dd usually orders the M-size tees as she is of medium built but they always end up bigger than the tee that fits my dh. He weighs 75kg.
