For the uniform, I actually specially ordered. One size smaller than the smallest at 50% more in pricing . Size was still about one size larger for my son bc he very small sized. Now going to be sec 3 still can wear. But takes quite long time to make. -

You have to remove the whole shirt pocket and sew on the secondary school pockets? You might as well have the whole shirt custom-made lah. Why buy 2 shirts to make one shirt? Cost would be 100% more. or at least 80-90% more.
Shorts - not sure. My boy didn't have problems with the shorts size. I bought the smallest size and it was quite fine. I can't remember if I shifted the side buttons' placement on the shorts so it can be buttoned tighter (too many things to remember - haha).
My boy was about 120cm I think. Just as reference for you. -

The idea came abt cos you mentioned waiting time for custom made is long. Am thinking of getting a shirt of each level, when he becomes bigger, can take out the pockets n reattach mah

Jennifer:
How long did it take you to custom-make your elder boy's uniform at Bibi & Baba last time? I sort of remember it takes around 3 weeks at least. But Bibi & Baba was open on New Year's Eve for me to collect the uniforms and then I had the sleeves altered over New Year's at the market, so just in time for school to start. But for me, I think I went to do the uniforms before S1 posting - not very sure.

Can consider to custom-make if you really need bc if the orientation is like it was 2 yrs ago, then the 1st 2 weeks - they wear PE Attire only.
