Lower sec usually 3. Upper sec 2. In lower sec there is usually one gymnastics day though if it's still the same as I was in lower sec. Yes skirt and pe shirt with school shorts underneath. SCGS doesn't allow fbts except for cca training usually.

                Hi πŸ˜„ ,

I will be in SCGS next year (sec1) and I have some questions to ask.

                1) how many IP classes are there?
                2) what time does the school bus normally come in the morning?
                3) what time will school end?
                4) Which classes are the top classes
Thanks In advance for answering my questions

                  1) how many IP classes are there? (Last year, there were 4))
                  2) what time does the school bus normally come in the morning? (Not sure as my daughter does not take the school bus)
                  3) what time will school end? (Depend on the timetable, days with CCA (usually Tues and Thurs) end at 6.15pm)
                  4) Which classes are the top classes (For last year, top class was SY)
Thanks In advance for answering my questions
                  Hi GDragon,
Welcome to SCGS. Sorry to see that there is no reply to your questions after the school had started. As my dd is in Sec 2 IP this year, thus I do not have information for Sec 1 IP. I hope by now, you have the answers to your questions. Hope you have enjoyed the Sec 1 Orientation!

                      Hi Skyed,
Just wondering why upper Sec still have top classes. :? I thought they are grouped according to the subject combinations from Sec 3 onwards. My dd is in Sec 2 this year but I have not started to check on the subject combinations offered in SCGS. I would like to hear your view. TIA.

EOY is near the corner and the girls are studying real hard. I do not understand why they make the EOY dates that are so cramp that the girls don't have much time to do revision, and moreover so many practice papers to do. Most of the subjects needs to do memorising. I think the school should spread the dates of the EOY so that the girls have more time to do revision.

Hi, I'm an ex-SC girl πŸ™‚ I believe this is in line with the school's focus on early preparation; it is the same as at O levels. Furthermore, it is the only major examination of the year.

But I fully agree: it's very stressful!!
