Ok, this a weird qn but has anyone ever tried removing the inner lining of the pe shorts. My dd finds it rather warm with so many layers.

Hi zeemimi, I checked out the fbt shorts. You r rt, absolute dream to wear under the skirt. So light even with the inner lining. But my dd wans to cut the lining away. Tryg to find the grey ones now.
These fbt shorts u talking abt are not the official cedar pe shorts right? So cant wear for pe but just for other days to wear under the skirt isit?

Fyi, i cut away that inner netting in the shorts too cos my dd also find it uncomfortable.

the inner lining for pe shorts is mesh. shouldn't be hot. šŸ˜‰
don't need to get grey fbts if it is for normal days wear. if cut away the lining for fbts, won't it be too thin and flimsy? :? the material is already very soft. the track n field team wear the grey fbts for training.

yes I tot so too. The fbts r fine but sch shorts I tink hv to cut. She finds the mesh in sch pe shorts warm too. My girl is very heaty, need to down liang teh bef sch starts : )
My dd says with the tie on top already warm so mus lessen the load at the bottom to keep cool. Her warped logic.

What should my daughter wear on the first day of school which is the orientation day ? Is it the yellow PE shirt with grey skirt and PE shorts underneath the skirt ?

Well, I was told by one of the student there that you can wear track shoe to school and it must have a 70% white base mix with colours of the school. Below is the copy of the of the points I copy from the school website Pupils-related matters \"CEDAR BEHAVIOUR POLICY 2013\".

                  d) Footwear
                  • Only white socks worn at or above the ankle are allowed
                  • No leather shoes, high-cut shoes, slippers or sandals are allowed
                  • Shoelaces must be white and tied in the standard way. No weaving, plaiting, tying at the back of
                  the shoe is allowed

                  • Only track shoes with white base are allowed. If there is any design/logo/minor trimming on the white-base track shoe, they should be small and inconspicuous, and must be either in black or school colours (blue, grey or gold)
