Hi, just saw the Year 1 class allocation. Just wondering why there are fewer students in 1J and 1K (28 instead of 35/36) ??? My DD is in Year 1. Thanks.

J & K must be the SBGE (school based gifted education) classes then. These 2 classes will be mainly the GEPpers + the top mainstreamers who scored very well PSLE. No difference in syllabus covered in all classes though. -

(is it one class less than previous years?)
They will be reporting to school at 7.30am on Monday. They will start late at 1pm on Wed but the activities end at 8.30pm. Any idea what kind of orientation activities they will be having? -
I think on the last day, the parents are supposed to join them at the end of the day (Wed). There should be CCA exhibition or other briefings for parents that day, so do keep your timetable free.

During my gal's yr, sbge classes were 1 K n 1 L, but was ard 25 only...
Yes, other classes would have 33-36 pupils.
Guess they will get their orientation prog printout on Monday...
telling them what to bring for the few days of orientation....
Is Wed the nite for briefing for S1 parents ?
It was in the past...where parents were in the hall while their kids were having fun in the canteen ( or somewhere in the sch)
In anyway, yr DD certainly will have a great time during the orientation...
I still rmb how \"high\" my gal was when we fetched her bk on the last nite of orientation... -
