Eu-ern, oh yes you are right! I forgot about grassroot volunteers ^^
Thanks for the info! -
I am new to this site and am considering admitting my gal into SKG for 2015.
Hope to hear some feedbacks about the school and their teachers so far?
Seems like there is no PV yet since this means that all admission will be through phrase 2C?
Thanks in advance to all your feedbacks -
hi, i am new here too. my girl is going to pri1 next year, intend to admit her into SKG & student care inside school.
anyone can share about YMCA student care ?
i called and check about registration, they said only do together with school registration and vacancies very limited. i wondering how much percentage my girl can get it -_-
anyone can share some experiences?
i m working mother without helper, if get outside care centre mean need someone help to pick & send. @@ -
Seems like it is getting more and more difficult to get into the student care as they really seems to have not much more space for expansion. If you have alternative schools with student care near your home, you may want to explore the school & in house student care as well as private student care within walking distance of school.
My ds just started p1 and in the in house student care. I can only say that it is premature for me to comment. So far it is satisfactory to me in terms of safety & security. All female teachers and some are very firm and no nonsense type. -

nearest my block are fernvale primary & SKG only -
My ds finally got in after much effort. However, I see that they really don’t seem to have much capacity anymore. In fact, it is my personal opinion that MOE may have to consider the growing needs of working parents who need student care facilities. Read in today’s papers that there are 20,000 more childcare places to be built this year. Interestingly there is no mention of student care at all. It really puzzles me if anyone is aware of the pressing issues that working parents face when their children enters the next lap in education.
