        Rom:

I am new to this site and am considering admitting my gal into SKG for 2015.

Hope to hear some feedbacks about the school and their teachers so far?
Seems like there is no PV yet since this means that all admission will be through phrase 2C?
Thanks in advance to all your feedbacks

I did email SKG to ask about PV bu noone replied...

i tried asking them 2 years ago when they started.
Have not heard of this since.. anyway they have parent support group for existing students.

        Any folks here signing up?

          P1 parents..

Any comments on the recess timing and food they are selling in e canteen?

I gave my boy $2 everyday. started this bad habit of buying pkt drinks (milo) which we had restricted at home.. i saw other flavored drinks which should be ban from sch canteen πŸ™‚

Monday and fri ends late at 1.45pm. suggest you urge your kids to take a heavy meal during recess else they will be starving till 2pm+ for lunch

PAL stands for program for active learning. Details got to go MOE website as I have read and forgotten details. Something like more wholesome learning instead of just focusing on academic.

I am fine with the timing. Ds has been taught to eat more on days of late dismissal and what drinks are not healthy. Don't suppose we can limit what is being sold so it is really a matter of inculcating healthy habits which may go a longer way. Just my humble opinion.

Since SKG is a new school with students only in the lower primary (please correct me if I am wrong), are they any ECAs that the students can participant in to develop other qualities?

Parents of p1 children, were your children informed to wear their PE attire to school on Monday? There is no indication of PE on the timetable. The only clue I get from timetable is PAL which I suspect calls for PE attire.

                  P2 parents, any idea?

My son said the teacher informed them to put on PE attire on Mon, besides the two PE days.
