DH is very strict on eating in the car - cos he doesn't like roaches in the car. Last Friday, after skipping lunch (think too busy with work), and seeing that i've a bottle of his fav pineapple tarts, he started eating the tarts in the car. DS1 and DD were in the car and they knew very well about the no eating rule in the car.

DH: Daddy can eat in the car cos my mouth is wide enough to put the whole tart in the mouth. You all cannot follow understand? So both of you can't eat in the car.

      DD: why? how come?

DH: see how daddy eats the tart?

and he opened his mouth very wide and stuffed the whole tart in the mouth

DH: 'Ummp!' see, no crumps in the car, everything in the mouth. (talking while eating... :!: )

2 days later, DD had some gummies and she wanna eat the gummies, but they are in the car.

DH: hey guys, no eating in the car! you remember this right?

DD: see see daddy, I also can put the whole gummy in my mouth... see see...

and she opened her mouth very wide and put the gummy in the mouth

DD: 'Ummp' see daddy, no crumps in the car, everything in the mouth, so can eat in the car mah...

      DH :stupid:

This is exactly what me and my galfrd were talking about. Cuz we both realize that our young kids sometimes emulate our actions!!! So must be careful ....

My 6 year old student was playing when he licked a dangling wire. His mother smacked and scolded him. When I went for tuition, he informed me that he had an ulcer and it's too painful to talk. When his mother told me about how he could have got his ulcer, I decided to reinforce the lesson about not putting things into the mouth.

Me: how did you get the ulcer?
Student: An aeroplane flew into my mouth and burst. Everything exploded and caused the ulcer which is now stuck in my mouth.
            Me: :!: :faint:
