There are both! But photography can only be taken as a Merit CCA. There might be some changes to CCAs this year, so i think you should wait a little and find out more on WedHi.
Um… i just wanna ask. Is there a like an infocomm or something or photography club in RGS? And is it hard to get into?

Hi all,
My DD told us that their teacher told them to wear the school uniform - pinafore, polo shirt on Monday. -
Choco05:
What's a merit CCA? And is infocomm nice? What does it teach in general?

OBS packing questions!
My daughter says they need ‘covered’ shoes for getting into the water. Any idea how ‘covered’ they have to be? She has a canvas pair that covers toes and part of the top of the foot, but not to the ankle. Will that be enough? I just threw away an old pair of shoes - shouldn’t have been so fast!
They were also asked to bring 3x1.5L water bottles - will empty bottles do? She has to take a bus to school!
They will be sleeping in tents. What’s the surface like? We were planning for her to bring a sheet sleeping bag, but if they are sleeping on the ground, will that be very hard or cold? Any idea how many in a tent?
I wish they could have had the briefing before the holidays so we had more time to prepare properly, or that their packing list was more detailed. Some of the things I prepared don’t seem to be what they want. Any other packing tips from the experienced? Thanks! -

Covered meaning like at least a sports shoe kind of thing! Because we will be in the sea for some activities and they don't want us to get hurt. Empty bottles are actually fine-there are water coolers. The tent ground is just a sheet. But it's not that hard haha. You can bring a sleeping bag if you want(most people do) and one tent fits about 4-5 people!
it's an outdoor camp after all- cannot be too comfortable haha.
Remember to waterproof everything in your bags ie. store in plastic bags! Also, sun protection is IMPORTANT. Very. Extra shirts can be handy too, since it will likely rain these days. Happy packing! -

Thanks! The shoes are canvas (like what some Pr school girls might wear) but not the thick sports shoes. Should be OK I think. I just started collecting together the things that she needs, and without clothes, it already looks so much! Looks like I may have to accompany her to school that morning to help carry some of the stuff.
