Ya, u shld be registering for PV this year... application starts ard Oct... 60hours... form will be available for download then... just keep a lookout at the sch website.
The form will basically let u list your qualification, your strengths n areas that you can contribute... no worries for template.
Interview in early Dec... result via mail in end Dec.
Not sure what they r looking for though.
Kheng Cheng is an option... no need to ballot for Phase 2C

Hi,
I am a full time working mother with an infant. My gal will be going to P1 in 2012 and I intend to apply as PV. Could anyone advise if a PV can contribute only during office hours on weekdays? Does PV need to "work" on Saturdays or Sundays too?
Thank you. -
depends on which school you are doing PV for.
which school(s) are you targeting? -

I am actually looking at Pei Chun or Ai Tong. But to my understanding Pei Chun already closed their application for child born in 2005.

Don't bother with Ai Tong if you don't live nearby. At phase 2B, Ai Tong is hotly contested at the within 2km range!tankee:

Agree with above!

Haha! Then I also must say... Don't bother with Peichun if you don't live nearby. At phase 2C, Peichun is hotly contested at the within 1km range!

DS was born in 2005. I've just stopped working to look into how we can get him priority - affiliation/PV/distance....but I need to decide on the right school. just want to do a quick poll of the KS parents here - how would you rate theses schools from most preferred to least? The different lists - academic, top students etc...they rate differently on each (or am i reading them wrong?!? )
1) Maha bodhi (btw they have no PV scheme)
2) Mee Toh
3) Nan Chiau
4) Kong Hwa
I am planning to visit the schools next week to 'soak' in the atmosphere as an additional factor for my considerations, but your opinions would help!!!
:?:
thanks everyone!! -

u can also visit the parents networking forum and look for the schs' individual threads.
btw, u may not be able to take a look at the schs except from the outside. most schs will have open house days. it's best to call up first before u go.
