If girl attends thd higher Chinese on every Monday, do we need pay for the 4:30 pm fee for school bus ? Please advise. Thanks.

I called the school today and asked how my DD who is in P2 can register for a CCA. Was told that P2 are not supposed to join CCA unless they are recruited by the coaches. I am just so confused here…

Hmmm... Can you go & try this? Now the school has changed the CCA registration system to electronically via lms.asknlearn.com (pioneer year). Login to your dd's account and check under <My Tasks>. There should be an email with a link to the CCA Registration 2014 form. Go to the link.
As I can see, the P2 classes are included in the system.
There are 4 sections to choose from :
A - Confirmed Membership for 2014 for those who are remaining in the CCA.
B - For New Intake only (ie those who did not have a CCA since 2013)
[you are given 2 choices for this]
C - Request for change
D - Exemption (*for swim team or any sports that is under intensive training)
As far as I understand, St Nicks only strongly encourages the girls to join a CCA in P3, unless it's competitive or performing CCA whereby these girls are handpicked by the respective CCA heads when the girls are in P1/2.
Why don't you login to lms.asknlearn & give it a try?
Good luck & hope your girl has fun in her CCA! :rahrah: :rahrah: -

Depends on the bus driver. My understanding with mine is no need, all official 4.30pm trips are already included in the monthly fares. For some of my friends, yes, about $5/trip... -

Different bus drivers ply different areas & routes (I think some popular areas might have 2 buses). Also the size of the vehicle is taken into account too, ie whether it is a 11-/19-/40- seater...
Of cos different distances from school will give rise to different bus fares as well... -

Hi parents,
My daughter is a transfer student in P3 this year. Just wondering if parents received any email from the P3 level master yet? In her previous school, the level master sends out emails regularly to update parents, and there will be one at the start of the year. However, I have not received a single email from the level master or form teacher in SNGS yet. Thanks a lot!
